0 to 1 hrs £2.50 1 - 2 hrs £3.50 2 - 3 hrs £4.50 3 - 4 hrs £5.50 4 - 5 hrs £7.50 5 - 6 hrs £8.50 6 - 7 hrs £12.50 7 - 24 hrs £18.00 6pm - 4am £1.50 ** **Customers can park for only £1.50 after 6pm. This rate is applicable to vehicles entering the car park after 6pm and leaving before 4am. If you enter the car park before 6pm you will qualify for the £1.50 tariff, however, will be charged the normal rate for hours prior to 6pm. A new daily rate is chargeable from 4am each day. Additional part days are chargeable each day as per the rates above. The maximum charge for any 24 hour period is £18. Lost tickets will be chargeable at the full daily rate of £18.
Useful information
Vehicle entrances are on Market Street and Palmerston Road. Please note we have a height restriction of 2.3m.
Pedestrian access for the multi-story car park is via a lift in between TK Maxx and Marks and Spencer when the centre is closed.
We have 39 designated disabled parking bays located on the surface level car park and 15 on level one of the multi-storey..
We have 13 dedicated family spaces available on outside Marks and Spencer in our surface car park. In the multi-storey car park, we have 10 spaces on level 1 and nine on level 2.
We have free motorcycle parking in designated bays directly opposite JD Sports. Motorcycles should enter via the dropped kerb at the Market Street entrance and exit via the dropped curb at the Palmerston Road exit. No ticket is required.
Shopmobility service operates in the entrance of P1 car park into Union Square shopping centre. The team can be contacted in advance on 01224 254 338 and provide many services, for free, including motorized and manual wheelchairs, scooters and powerchairs.
