Riksha is an Indian street food pop-up from the team behind the legendary North East restaurant Cinnamon, offering customers a fresh and tasty menu with classic favourites such as tandoori chicken and lamb bhoona as well as uniquely Riksha dishes such as tikka masala frankie and masala battered fish & chips.
The fast-casual eatery has introduced an Indian breakfast to Aberdeen, for diners to enjoy a different take on typical breakfast with masala omelettes and pau bhajis. Lunchtime guests are able to tuck in to grab and go specials or sit in after a busy morning shopping, and in the evening, diners can relish Riksha’s authentic Indian tapas dishes.
The restaurant itself brings to life the vibrant streets of India, Bangladesh to Aberdeen. The pop-up boasts hand-painted feature walls evoking the perfect balance of passion and excitement. Adding a personal touch, Head Chef, Jab Miah, hand-painted a bold and vivid mural which encompasses Indian and Bengali graffiti art
and has vivid splashes of colour, transporting diners to the very heart of India.
